Control

1- The unit can be manual/motorized control for current variation and push button controlled.
2- The unit can be microprocessor based complete with on board digitized panel.
3- The unit can be PLC based complete with computer, HMI memory, printer etc. for operation.

Power Components

1- Step down transformer : 1 No. double wound transformer shall be used for supplying high
Current and low voltage for testing.
2 - Auto Transformer : 1 No. Motorized Auto Transformer shall be used for controlling the
output voltage from zero to maximum to control the load Current.

Metering

1- Ampere meter : 1 No. Digital Ampremeter shall be provided with 0.5 classes CT to indicate
the output current. The size of the amperemeter shall be 96 sq.mm, one in case of single
phase unit.
2 - Voltmeter : A digital voltmeter with selector switch shall be provided to indicate the
output voltage each phase/phase to phase, if required.
3 - Line On Indicator : Neon lamp indicators are provided for input indication.
4- Main ON/OFF switch : Two pole ON/OFF is provided for input ON &OFF.
5- Option for XCT current measurement and input current measurement.

Termination

Output is brought on Copper bus-bars

Control Panel

(i) ON/OFF switch
(ii) Separate Indiaction lamp
(iii) Digital Output Ampere meter and Voltmeter.
(iv) Knob / Push button for raising and lowering the output current.

Regulating Transformer

Will be suitable for Motorized operation having limit switches, lifting arrangement for
Regulating Transformer and for the whole unit, Input & Output Indicators. Will be suitable
for Motorized or manual operation having limit switches

Step Down Transformer

Shall be air cooled type. Primary winding having DCC insulation and secondary winding
of bare copper strip. The unit shall be housed in a MS Sheet body supported an angle iron
frame.Output shall be brought out on Copper bus- bar of electrolyte grade.
